I have tried several diets in my life, but none of them worked. But then I realized that I must change whole my life-style, because when you are on diet for two months and then you will go back to your foregoing board - It is absolutely unvailing! You must change something in your mind, must apprehend that if you want to be slim and healthy you need to live a healthy life to the end of your life. Not only try some new diet - you must be really decided and have reasonable motivation why. I my case motivation is to be healthy mother for my future baby. Another reason is that I realized I am alergic on gluten - but it is another story.
I was used to eat a lot of crap and eat only twice a day because of my work schedule. But then I realized that much more better way how to lose weight is by eating regularly and without being hungry. To start eating regularly was one of the best decisions in my life. It is actually better to have five or six smaller meals at two or three hour intervals. My diet is based on eating frequently (every two hours), is based on you never feeling hungry. I have learned that being hungry doesnt lead to losing weight but to put on weight. Your body stores fat as a resource to help protect you against starvation if you cannnot take in enought food. Sometimes specialists recommend us to count calories you eat and expend, but I think it is very time-consuming and when eating out impossible. So I am trying to eat more healthy but dont count it exactly - and it works as well.
At the beginning of this new healthy life-style I was fighting with hunger. I started eat five times a day: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, but I was feeling hungry between the meals. I could observe that helps to me to eat more proteins, such as cheese, poultry, cottage cheese, ham or eggs. If you hang in one or two weeks and hunger will be surely smaller because your body will adapt.
For me is very difficult to prepare a snack to work every day, so I eat vegetables or fruits, that I prepare directly in the work. I register my weight every day and I started 17th June 2012 with 76 kilos (167 lb) and two and half months later I have 70 kilos (154 lb).
Example of my meals during the day:
Breakfast 7:30 - one slice of bread with cottage cheese and a tomato
Snack 10:00 - three pieces of carrot
Lunch 12:30 - spiced gratinate pumpkin with potato crisps
Snack 15:00 - curd-cheese with plums
Dinner17:30 - soap with rice noodles
I will add more meals and recipes as well.
